Christmas is Coming!

I know it's only October 1st but I've got to plan ahead! I don't know if we'll be here or with family for Christmas so I have to at least get a start in case we aren't able to fly home. I've decided this year that all the gifts we give will be homemade. Like I have all this extra time to make gifts, I know but that's the goal. I plan to make several sets of cards, Thank you cards, Happy Birthday cards, and anyother cute ideas I get. Generally I don't like to add sentiments to cards so that they are versitile and can be used in several ways. I was thinking about calendars but eh I'm not so into that. I"m going to do some cookies and food gifts in jars. I also like the idea of doing "kits".

I found this on the SCS gallery. I "think" it's hot chocolate mixes. My thought is to use Starbucks Frappuccino bottles and holder (of course decorated) to do this. Plus it gives me an excuse to buy Mocha Frapp's!

I really like how clean this card is. Again, this is not my card and I apologize but I can't go back and find it again to figure out who made it! I can think of several ways to make a few changes to this.

This is one of the new SU sets that I ordered on a whim and actually really love. I think that I will make some spring themed cards with this. Because by about January 1st in Northern Michigan (where my family is) people are sick of winter!

So with my brainstorming session for the day done, I'm off to get the boys dressed - we're going to Chuckie Cheese today. Youssef starts a writing class tonight - thank god! I"ll be back with more updates - promise!
